I have reproduced several testimonies about St. Nectarios and his monastery, the authentic testimonies of other people, some of whom lived near the Saint in his monastery, others who knew him in Eghina or elsewhere, others who have heard accounts about him. All these testimonies try to sketch the life of St. Nectarios in order to see his virtues. His holy way of life thus becomes for us a kind of mirror in which we are invited to look at our own lives. It is touching that a man persecuted, slandered, deprived, bereaved, is now honored by people who come from the ends of the earth to worship at his holy relics, to pray to him and to thank him for his countless miracles.
