The present volume contains catecheses by Abbot Aimilianos of Simonos Petras delivered at the Holy Monastery of Ormylia between 1979-1983. The novelty of this volume lies in the fact that Fr. Aimilianos responds in these words to letters from the nuns.

Starting from the sisters’ experiences and daily life, Gheronda expresses the principles underlying monastic life and Christian life in general, revealing to the sisters and to all the faithful the means and ways they must use to attract God’s grace and to become “partakers of the divine Being”.
